Submission Guidelines

Everyone is welcome to send us a submission to be considered for publication. We place special emphasis on showcasing work by new or early career writers and photographic artists. So whether you’ve had loads of work published and shown – or none – you’re welcome here.

We value originality above all else. As the old saying goes: “Be yourself, everyone else is taken.”

FICTION & POETRY

– 3,500 words maximum per story
– Two stories maximum per writer
– 100 lines of poetry maximum
– Please send Word documents only
– Include your name, address, postcode and word count on the title sheet

Stories must be previously unpublished in print or online. Work as part of an academic course will not be accepted.

ART & PHOTOGRAPHY

– Nine artworks maximum
– Please send high resolution JPGs, with the shortest side a minimum of 800px
