JD Allan’s funny, moving, exquisitely terse tale is the fourth in a series of recordings of original work by new writers from Scotland. Set in a Glasgow community hall of the 1980s, this a story for anyone who was ever adolescent, who ever dreamed of rock stardom, stumbled their way through a chaotic band practice, or burned with embarrassment at their parents’ well-meaning interventions. Eleven Eyes was read by Martin Young, and produced in accordance with social distancing guidelines by Angus McPake and Patrick Small.
