Jade Starmore, a photographer and textile designer from the Hebrides, creates wearable art inspired by the Scottish landscape
The Devotional Collection is a photographic fashion project which takes its inspiration from the landscape and architecture of Scotland. Images taken in the Highlands and Islands have been blended with historical ruins to create large scale collages. These are intended to show the fragility of human structure against the timeless and wild landscape of the North West of Scotland. The finished collages are then printed onto fabric and made into wearable art. These final pieces have been shot as an editorial fashion series in one of the places that inspired the project.
